I guess you were playing for EOD at that scrim. Nobody really cares because you're lost in your own aliases. But I believe others who read this thread might be confused.

no i meant it as in if u really thought that Eod was a bunch of botters tell us in irc or something not during a scrim..in my opinion that was pretty rude...kind of poor sportsmanship to say we won because antitcc was not on.....

I thought EOD having some members who bot was pretty well known already. ANd i see you joined EOD since your nick is on the ogl ladder for them. Too bad you "knew nothing about their past" before joining them. It figures why you'd say what you are saying.
ALso, it is beyond understanding why someone would turn off anti-tcc in the middle of the match if it was already on when we won.
"poor sportsmanship"? Dont think so. A well-known botter was playing for your team as well as other suspicious players.
"poor judgment" (euphemism) for joining a botter's clan without knowing anything about it? yep.

Hey Kami. Im gonna have to back up rookie cuz everytime Joker came in to IDA Face demo server he was botting.What amazed me was that he never had the smarts to at least change his name, but intelligence isnt required to play online gaming. As for the other accused EOD members, well there are too many other respectable players in our UT community to argue against them saying that certain other EOD members cheat. If you want to be with EOD thats your decision. Your just gonna have to trust them and accept the shit, and yea sometimes trust is stepped on. As for Hoggy's accent I'm always hoping he wont tell me important things cuz im like...wha he say???

As for u Rookie, saying " why someone would turn off anti-tcc in the middle of the match" I added the anti tcc thru the webadmin for the second match and as it wasnt in the default list ...when u switch to or start a new map then it would default back to the settings in the default menu. And that I really dint notice that anti tcc not being there for the 3rd map or I would have happily added it .... for u guys if thats the only thing that makes u trust.... other ppl

Well 3day i dunno if anyone of the admins have seen him bot ... but by my experience with u guys,(when i was only in demo) u guys have poor judgement to judge a botter from a non botter(in my case atleast) if u remember banning me 4 times .... 3 times when i was on demo and recently one of the admins came in and banned me(i was on a different name) listening to some other ppl's talk that i was botting... even with out speccing me ... thats sad there... first thing before accusing or banning from a server is atleast to spec them ...(and again i m not talking abt others-this is my case)

Mintu, I wish you set up a demo server that is populated about 20 hours a day and then be able to admin it 24h and ban only people who deserve to be banned. Really. Only after that you may come over here and tell us how bad we're as admins.
At this time you're welcome to go to archived post on this server, read them carefully and make some notes. I'm also ready to forward you all those ~500 e-mails with complaints about botters and being banned from info@idaclan.org for all 10 months while server was running.

its mostly just the way u handled it that made me angry...

btw rookie where ya been havent seen ya in a while...

i can understand how u feel about joker botting, i feelt he same way about any botter, i'm just against the way u handled it in game...

sorry Hogs didnt mean to offend, it was spose to be funny. The only important thing i was refering to was the password for a scrim or practice. Mintu, either your being blindly faithfull to EOD or ignorant. In this case ignorance isnt bad just coming out half cocked. Like Hogs said admining a server with over 19,000 games played http://ut2004stats.epicgames.com/index. ... ts=servers is bound to make a mistake once in awhile. I will admit I've made mistakes. At the same time quite careful it took me over 3 months to catch and finally be able to ban hard to detect botters who have very cleverly hid it. I know Ive never banned you Mintu, for any reason. I understand you and Kami want to make things work in EOD but at some point in time you should consider what other players are saying. Ive stuck up for players that I liked when I didnt know they were botting even arguing with iDA over them...turned out I was wrong I didnt want to belive it. And since this is a soryy Odi thread....Sorry Odi!

I think it was more important to be silent before than thereafter. 99% of flames could be resolved privately. People are coming to UT and going. But most if ida'ers are still around and circle of our friends in community only grows. I honestly hope you'll make as many friends as we did regardless all flames and problems.
And please, don't recruit 12yo kids and cheaters next time. I believe you did not know anything about Joker before. Anyway, what reaction would you expect from people who knew that he was botting in the past?
