I had this problem before and there are tons of things that could be causing it. The thing that fixed it for me was increasing the VM space...Try it and let me know if it works. Also make sure you have the drivers for your video card installed and all that good stuff =\

Im having problems getting my nvidia drivers installed. got most of my other issues worked out, like mounting the NTFS system, getting gcc on here. and some other crap.

but to my nvidia drivers is like

*cliffnotes*

Me: sh install bitch
Nvidia: o rly?
Me: ya rly.
Nvidia: wtf kernel is this n00bs?!
Me: suxz0r 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4
Nvidia: 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4?! WTF! no wai!
Nvidia slaps lethal with a big fucking fish
Nvidia: Pwn3d!
Lethal left channel #nvidiainstall with reason Pwn3d by Nvidia

It went something like that....

Went ahead and just trashed fedora. I reinstalled windows because the game looks like total shit when renderd on linux. Couldent alt tab between the game and any other windows. Which would have made it difficult to use team speak. The sounds did not work, nor did player glow. oh well, it ran. it just made it pointless that i spent 300 bucks on a 6800gt

It worked the exact same for me as it does on windows. For the alt-tabbing, you can just write a simple script to do it. And teamspeak works fine without any sort of alt tabbing for me......
