Broken screenies :(

Anybody has a clue why after I changed the videocard I get broken screenshots like this:

i get that too.

it might have something to do with the nvidia drivers, is that what you have?

Yep. I did not update them since January though. Also it coincided with installation of latest patch for UT2k4. So I don't know who to blame.

you should download drivercleaner from here:

http://www.drivercleaner.net/professional.html

It's a free download.

1. uninstall your current vid card drivers
2. Run drivercleaner pro - select Nvidia, and press "start"
3. Reboot into safe mode, and run it again, and do the same thing
4. reboost into normal mode, and install the latest nvidia drivers
5. You should be good to go.

I think it's all screwed up is because even if you have a new nvidia card, the drivers a re still set to run your old card. So you need to do a fresh install.

*update* - hmmm, just realized it's screenshots you have probs with - not the game itself. Still, I'd give this a try and see if it helps.

Looks like a graphics interlace problem. Do you have an SLI setup?

Did you upgrade a videocard or applied an UT patch?

No, it's not SLI.

ya i went from a 9700pro to the nvidia 7800GT

also i put the 3369 patch in...

I have a 7800gt with 3369 patch - I can test it tonight on my system and let you know if I have the same issues.

quick question - what's the key to take screenshots?

i have the new patch a 800gt and hte old drivers and mine doesnt do that
