At least Epic was smart enough to hire the guy who worked on ut99 soundtrack.

Yeah. My speakers are alllllways off.
Although i've heard one or two of the 2k4 songs, and they were rather cool. Haven't played 99 though.

Nobody listens to it in 2k3/2k4 because it sux. Many people actually listened to it in ut99 even during competetive games.

Meh I never found UT 99 music to be anything special. Even if I found the music to be good in 2k7, I would definitely turn it off to hear in-game sounds.

I agree that UT music was way better in making you stressed enough to play this game than anything in UT2k3 or UT2k4. Music, no matter which makes it hard for me to hear footsteps, doors, pads, etc. so it's all off for me.
