Live Demo of "Shoryuken!!" Streetfighter Style

Post by fightingmink »

This stuff maybe unbelievable to most... but I'd hate to be on the receiving end. Dudes get knocked out without getting touched by anything.

It's almost hilarious.

but only 40% can be effected...

this is just similar to a placebo effect
People who believe in it are more likely to be affected and people who don't are much less affected or not affected at all. Some studies actually show that the brain can send specific waves that can affect the environment. But nothing extreme like that.
This is BS for me too hehe

Street fight? 40% against a guy with a gun is not going to be the most effective.

I remember there was a dude in Japan like 15 years ago who came up with touchless technique. He disappeared from TV screens shortly after his trickery was exposed. His victims were actually acting. Approximately at the same time many hypnotists emerged in circuses that claimed they can hypnotize crowds.
I was at one such show in Moscow and it was pretty funny. They guy could pick out weak minded people from the crowd ask them upfront on stage and do a variety of funny tricks like making them saying what he wants, knock them off feet with fake touchless punches like that karatist did. He honestly told us that it does not work on majority of people.

Doesn't this remind you of all those so-called "healers" on TV? "Praise Jesus, you're healed!!"
