DaM loaded up a new reg grav 135 server... maps are stupid, I don't really know what maps are spose to be used for 135... so there's a bunch of low grave maps on it now... if someone could get me a map list for 135 I'd load em up... meanwhile, I'll check OGL and see if there's a map list for 135

You'll see alot more player getting on. The only RGi turbo servers are central and alot of the players get pissed off with the lag.

If you turn it into RGi turbo, i'll advertise it across the other players.

Clan 44oz servers have them on auto rotate which is pretty cool, otherwise everyone keeps choosing 3-4 maps and it gets tedious.

I tried to play turbo rgi and I have never felt so slow in my life. Some of the players were doing circles around me and the best I could do was turn in the opposite direction to shoot them more often. But I am proud to say that today I had a great breakthrough. I was leading the target so that the fire flash would hit them. n00bish huh? After learning that the game is just xhair over target and shoot, I got my first triple kill ever. I was like wtf, tripppple killll!?

Back on topic, yeah the maps are just medium sized standard maps. In general, LG maps suck for rgi. The only ones I seen on rgi are thornsv2 and barn, and about half of the people will whine about the spamminess more than play on barn.

While we are talking about UT99, how do you filter servers? I can play TDM and weapons CTF but I can't find any iCTF servers. I don't know what I am doing at all with ut99.

There's no iCTF filter in ut99. iCTF servers are somewhere among reguler CTF.

I added a tab to the browser to give me populated ctf servers. From there, I just read their names or play in them. If they have more than one weapon, then they are not instagib. Rocket servers are fun too.

Since I play with the lowest possible settings in 04 and highest in 99, on the surface they are almost identical. All I need is butt lights on the ut99 characters and I would not suffer from transitional problems.

Btw ut* = easy, photoshop = work. Give me ut* any day of the week.

There's more but you have to jump inot them to see whether they are instagib or weapons. Some server admins forget or do not include the type of play on the server display name.

You can also distinguish IG servers by its name (insta, ictf, ig, lgi etc) and by DMInstagib mutator in the server details.
