linux UT3 server was released today

Hey Hogs, I have a linux box with suse 10 enterprise server...

where can I get info on setting up game severs on it, I googled for "linux game server setup" but got nothing...

Is it better just to use suse 10.1 workstation or the enterpise solution.

Got a lowgrav UT3 ctf server running

Most members are old school UT99 OGL players from DaM, NBA, BaD and IQ

We usually get on around 6:30 west, be great to see some old UT99 iDA players drop by for a beating...LOL

Is iDA planning to have a UT3 ladder team... not sure what modes will be available as of yet... just wondering though, if iDA in considering

Me likes it so far, I have the 8800GTX (AMD 4800 dual core, 2 gig ram) and the demo couldn't run any smoother... The game seems to me to be a cross between 99 and 2k4

It uses the Ageia Physics (software rendered) like MoH Airborne... I spose you could check and see if your card has a bios update ...

DaM loaded up a new reg grav 135 server... maps are stupid, I don't really know what maps are spose to be used for 135... so there's a bunch of low grave maps on it now... if someone could get me a map list for 135 I'd load em up... meanwhile, I'll check OGL and see if there's a map list for 135 ...

That comp has a dual core, you need to set the affinity to a single core...
I have a dual core comp and I have to set the affinity on almost all games, cept for F.E.A.R., good luck and nice to see you

server is back up and running better then ever...we spent 10 hours on that beast...we think we got all the bugs out (bad HD and a bad ram stick) most likely we'll go Linux next round...

Going to have another WAN party this weekend, hope you UT99 peeps can make it :flagrun:
